5 Last Minute Easter Details + a Sweet Treat

Wow! Didn't we just pack up Christmas a few weeks ago? And now Easter is sneaking up - as quick as next Sunday! Fear not - here's a few Easter details to serve up to your friends and family, and even welcome the Easter bunny with... plus an adorable sweet treat I spotted last week - too cute - had to share!

CARROT CUPS:
(Simple alternative to a veggie tray)
Dollar store 3 pk of clay pots
Ranch dressing spooned into each
Baby Carrots planted in each pot
Serve on a long platter filled w/broccoli to add in some greens

MONOGRAM PLACE SETTINGS
Reuse those left over scrapbook letters on Easter Eggs
(for more polished look, spray eggs in metallic finish)
Print personal messages + names on cardstock
Cut cardstock with decorative edge scissors
Place pieces in a nest + add a touch of moss

ADD GOLD TOUCHES
With gold being so on trend, painting existing Easter decor and even everyday home decor with gold can easily refresh & renew your Easter & Spring home with style!

EASTER HOME DECOR
Just like with any season or decor, flow colors from room to room for a cohesive look.
Setting Easter decor in two focal points of two adjacent rooms - a buffet & a coffee table, or a console table & a fireplace mantel - is really all you need to create a simple festive look & feel, without having it look over done. The finishing touch will be your Easter tablescape.

WREATH REDO
Another great Spring trends this year are pastels. Rework an existing chocolate wreath with a few pastel thrifted eggs and coordinate your wreath with color blocked candy. For a ribbon or bow alternative, wrap wreath with palm leaves.

Now for the magical (sweet) treat...

While blog hopping this past week, catching up on what homeowners and bloggers are up to for Spring, I came across this adorable treat from a blog called Sweetology101: Magic Jellybeans and Lollipop Pudding Treats. If you have kids, click link to go to site to learn how to make... It's another great use for those simple Dollar Store clay pots.

Happy Spring and thanks for visiting!
