Benjamin Moore + Olioboard Color Challenge

Olioboard has done it again! They're having another design board challenge! For this challenge, Olioboard has teamed up with one of their new vendors on their site: Benjamin Moore Paints! What's so great about this? Plenty! If you are a home owner creating a makeover board for your home, now you don't have to hunt for hours for the perfect shade of green for the kitchen or blue for your boys room. Benjamin Moore has uploaded their color swatches to Olioboard to help create more accurate source info for your boards! The same holds true for designers, decorators and home stagers, who probably already have the Benjamin Moore fan deck. Now you too can create more accurately sourced boards for your clients with at Olioboard. To kick off this teaming of sources, together they had launched a Spring Color Makeover Contest - with a chance to win up to $450 in Benjamin Moore products! Here's my entry...

DESIGN BOARD CONCEPT | FAMILY GREAT ROOM:
Ground a space with Benjamin Moore greys to merge the East Coast with the West - Inspired from rocky beaches to sandy deserts. Anchor the space with a mix of dark city stained woods + the greys of desert wood. Pop the space with textile layers + pottery accents in this years HOT trend color: Tangerine Tango - for an East Coast dweller now living in the Arizona desert. the greys I chose to use are: Worn Leather Shoes (CSP135), Skipping Stones (CSP), Rocky Beach (CSP190) and Cotton Balls (OC-122) for the trim.

My fave formula for homes? Neutral walls, dark & mixed woods & metals for furniture, all popped with a good dose of seasonal color from textiles & accessories to keep it fresh!

Benjamin Paint colors are easy to identify with. You've seen them frequently used in Pottery Barn, West Elm and even Restoration Hardware. And even famed Canadian Interior Design Candice Olson only uses Benjamin Moore Paints for her transformations. I also have a pinboard with several of their colors. check out: Benjamin Moore Paints.

Like doing an intial board, framing it, and reload it to creat a board within a board.
Above was the original board. below is the board with additional info.

So please head over to Oliobard to vote for my board, and maybe make one of your own! The catch to this challenge? There are only TWO DAYS LEFT to VOTE!

Thanks for stopping by!
