SALVAGED WOOD WEDNESDAY

Just some pics I saw on RESTORATION HARDWARE site and wanted to share... beautiful and simple examples of colorless, wintery but warm January setting for a home... still rich with texture... and best of all, featuring some pieces from SALVAGED WOOD.

LOVE the graphics...
would like to REcreate for our office...

Last pic, not necessarily with salvaged wood,
but same colorations of featured pallet,
and leather works well with it...

Have a wonderful winter Wednesday...

  1. Although I've been trying to inject color into my home I'm still drawn to the beauty of neutrals. All of the rooms had a very calming effect which I found enjoyable.

  3. I love restoration hardware, they are just so expensive! The Timothy Oulton couch, is gorgeous in person, we considered buying it...however it is not comfortable at all on your back. It is a definite show piece couch...like in a room you never use. I am enjoying your blog.

  4. THANBK YOU DIANE AND DEBBIE!!!
    Glad you're enJOYing the posts!

I agree... RHW is WAY too expensive, but it sure is inspirational. Maybe revamp an existing piece you already have with a new finish (like the salvaged wood greys). I started looking around here and am considering 2 black pieces getting the weathered treatment...

Naz: I think you hit the mark on what the draw is to these.... the CALMING effect...

    Keep CALM and Carry on...
