An embroidered runner from HomeGoods adds a lacy detail to a slipcovered dining bench - Later switched for chairs. Plant stands help add height to the live ferns, layering the greens for a refreshing Spring dining area...
As an alternative to flowers for Palm Sunday,
simply use fresh cut palm fronds. Here I replaced the bargain bunnies with a series of three frosted glass hurricane pillar holders as the containers for simple palms. They were silver - a simple coat of gold spray paint helped to refresh their look for the table...

A beautifully elegant table setting. Love how the design in your glasses and hurricane candle holders mirror one another.
ReplyDeleteGreat tip about spraying the eggs to coordinate as napkin holders.
You really scored with those Wedgewood plates, too!

Beautiful table setting. The color scheme is very sophisticated and dramatic. Your cat is very elegant as well and matches the room perfectly. I think it's looking forward to the feathered treat in the small baskets. :)

This is fantastic!!!! The green JUMPS OUT OF THE COMPUTER when shown against the crisp white! I love the variations on a theme, with hydrangeas AND palm fronds to show how to utilize this tablescape in myriad ways!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful!!!

Another great table, Lynda! I love how the texture of the bamboo lends such character to the whole look! The glassware is heavenly!!! I like how it works so well with the floral stands. It has that 1960s modern meets the Orient feel to it....if that makes any sense at all! Beautiful!
