This
structure was inspired by the architect's trip to New York City in the
1930's. He had seen the Empire State Building and visited St. Patrick's Cathedral on his trip. When he returned, he wanted to build a
skyscraper to marry the two structures together here in Sedona.
He teamed up with Lloyd Wright, son of Frank Lloyd Wright, and built
this structure in the 1950's.

ReplyDeleteI was here - I think in 2007 - and it was an amazing trip. It's hard to put Sedona in words other than it 's a must see.
