THRIFTY THURSDAY - THRIFT COLLABORATION

Couldn't we all use a few tips to help save us some money when settling in our home - for the holidays or anytime of the year? Have you been hearing more about thrift in this economy and want to try it, but don't know where to start? Well - you're in luck! My friend Rashon Carraway - aka Mr. Goodwill Hunting - is featuring Thirty Days Of Thrifting for the month of December.

The entire month will be dedicated to all things thrifty and feature  highlights a few of his good blog and twitter friends. Events scheduled are:

Mini Makeover Mondays which will look at makeovers that were not huge but are certainly worth mentioning.

Talking Tuesdays will host interviews from major players in the thrift community.

WOW Wednesdays will highlight one or more WOW transformations from people that incorporated thrift items and transformed their spaces dramatically.

Thrift Tip Thursdays will feature a panel discussion from a number of seasoned & savvy thrifters participating and offering their advice on thrifting. The panel will include tips from stylists Emily A. Clark, Justin Shaulis, Rashon, myself and mommy blogger Lakeitha Duncan. Please make sure you drop by and add your comments.

The panel post started today. You can read it at

Freestyle Friday will recap the week and may also include a few scores from Mr. Goodwill Hunting himself!

Sleepy Saturday will highlight one or more bedrooms that are just amazing...with a little thrift thrown in.

Save me Sundays will highlight money saving products to transform any old item to make it into something talk worthy.

If you have a project you want Mr. Goodwill hunting to feature, you can email him at mr.goodwillhunting@gmail.com or tweet him at @MrGWHunting. He'd love to hear from you!

What have you thrifted lately?
Happy Thrifty Thursday!!
